It generated a lot of money at the box-office, and there’s already rumours of a sequel, and seeing the two characters appear in other MCU projects going forward.
For now though fans in need of their next Deadpool & Wolverine fix will want to turn their attention to the comics, as the pair have crossed swords/claws several times over the years, and they’re about to do it again.
Deadpool/Wolverine is a new series that’ll see the two heroes begrudgingly join forces again, explore their shared histories and tackle a returning X-Men villain in the process.
Writer Benjamin Percy and artist Joshua Cassara will be collaborating on the comic together, with the first issue launching sometime in January 2025.

While some fans immediately saw the series as an attempt to capitalise further on the Deadpool & Wolverine hype, others were quite excited.
One said “This is the kind of MCU/Comics synergy I'm totally in favour of. Deadpool and Wolverine are the nitro and glycerine of comics. Put them together and things will explode in the best possible way.”
Another added “I’m up for anything that brings in new readers”, when talking about the success of the film.
Whether you like it or not, Deadpool isn’t going away anytime soon, and you best believe he’ll be dragging his best buddy Logan with him.
