Marvel fans have been left feeling pretty ticked off after a fan-favourite character was introduced into the MCU and then brutally dispatched with very little warning.
Obviously the MCU wouldn't be the most exciting place if everyone lived forever or kept coming back *glances sideways at Robert Downey Jr.*, but this latest death has come a little too soon for Marvel fans.
If you've been watching the new Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again, you'll probably have been incredibly creeped out by the serial killer known as Muse.

To my very great surprise, this adaptation of Muse hasn't really shied away from all the things that made him such a terrifying bastard in the comics.
The costume is absolutely on point, and his general vibe of being a deeply creepy son of a bitch made him a fascinating villain to tempt Matt Murdock back into putting on the old devil costume.
What a shame then, that after just two real episodes of screen time, the MCU's Muse is shot a few times in the chest and killed off.
The fans really aren't happy about this
While some fans on Reddit believe that Muse isn't actually dead, I'm going to suggest the three massive holes in his chest prove otherwise.

Then again, I'm seriously part of the camp that thinks Foggy survived being gunned down by Bullseye, so I'm just as delusional in my own way.
"Daredevil/Muse fight was brutal but I'm sad this is how Muse's arc is finished before turning into something greater," one fan writes on Twitter. "This dynamic would have been amazing to develop; Muse obsession paralleled with Matt's heroism and the masked issue... it's a loss."
Another added: "idk man i don’t think Muse is actually dead. if he is.. WHAT A WASTE OF A GOATED CHARACTER!!!"
Given Bullseye survived being tossed off a building and Adam survived Kingpin putting his head through a concrete wall, who knows? With two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again left, anything could happen.
