Steam has added eight new free games you can download and keep forever, including one of the year's best-reviewed games so far.
Most PC gamers out there will know Steam frequently adds new free games to download, typically from smaller creators - though still usually worth checking out.
A new batch was just recently added to Valve's digital storefront, and if you're looking for some strong new freebies, you've definitely come to the right place.

Let's take a look at what's on offer, shall we?
- STEEL HUNTERS - A free to play shooter with big shooty mechs and lots of explosions. Might scratch that Titanfall itch, maybe?
- Discussion Over Dinner - A fascinating, creepy simulation game about an awkward dinner with a new neighbour.
- Endless Horizons - A space-exploration game, simple-looking but kinda cute.
- Minimalist Box - It's Sokoban with a few fun twists. Perfect if you're just looking to scratch that puzzle itch.
- The Deep Creep - An indie shooter with some really good reviews. Looks like it could be a genuine banger.
- Dungeon Ascent - "Descend into the dark depths of a dungeon teeming with creepy creatures, where every moment is a fight for survival. Grab powerful weapons, improve your skills and fight to your last breath to survive as long as possible in this endless nightmare."
- One Shot Arena - Described as a "multiplayer game of precision and perfect timing."
- ENA: Dream BBQ - I can't even begin to describe this one, but you should know it has nearly 15,000 positive reviews and is one of most popular games on Steam this year in terms of user reviews.
There you go then. Not a bad haul at all, with some genuinely great games in the mix. Get stuck in and ignore that spring sunshine.
