Avengers: Doomsday already has a pretty stacked cast, but it looks to be adding even more as time goes on.
Worryingly, the film is currently in production, so there is the possibility that these additional cast members could leak ahead of either an official reveal or the film's eventual release.
Then again, that risk isn't new, so I’m sure Marvel will make it work.

It does make you wonder if it’ll live up to the spectacle of Avengers: Endgame though, as it felt like the stakes couldn’t get much higher than that.
While there are already some great characters in the film like the Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, and even some of the Fox X-Men, there are a few characters not yet confirmed to be in the film that really should be.
One of them is Storm, the Omega-level mutant played by the talented Halle Berry in the live-action films.

While Storm’s appearance in Avengers: Doomsday hasn’t been confirmed by Marvel Studios yet, there are talks that Berry will be returning, and DanielRPK reckons she’s currently finalising her deal to appear in the film.
Now I would take that with a generous handful of salt to not be disappointed, but it would be weird to bring back the iconic Fox versions of the X-Men and not include Storm in the mix.
At the time of writing, Magneto, Professor X, Gambit, Mystique, Cyclops, Beast and Nightcrawler are all expected to return.
We’re also missing Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, a very weird omission which has many believing Marvel Studios is intentionally holding back names for a surprise when we actually watch the film itself.

It’s not just X-Men characters either; Doctor Strange and Spider-Man are also presumably not in the film if we’re going off the cast alone, which seems unlikely.
I sense Doomsday will have plenty of surprises up its sleeve.
