The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim potentially has the power to outlive its sequel, if fans keep making expansions for it that is.
It does make me wonder if Bethesda realises how lucky it is to have a community so dedicated to the cause that it’ll make hours and hours worth of new content, for free, so the developers don’t have to.
One can only wonder how much new content The Elder Scrolls VI will get when fans get their hands on it, if it supports mods straight out of the gate that is
If you’re looking for something new to add to your Skyrim playthrough we’ve found a pretty good addition, a brand-new dungeon to explore filled with bandits and treasure.

Titled The Bandit’s Hideaway you can add this one to your game via NexusMods right now, for free, and it’s totally worth it.
It’s described as “A dungeon carved by water, filled with slumbering draugr and infested with bandits awaits your sword and staff within this level. Come explore and unveil its treasures,” sounds very magical.
There are some directions on how to find the dungeon too, apparently it’s located “in the Falkreath Hold due west of Lake Ilinalta and Moss Mother Cavern, south of Sunderstone Gorge, and north of Hunter's Rest.”
Personally I love mods like this, as while the enormous map-sized expansions are cool, sometimes I just want to go on a silly, micro adventure and a new dungeon is perfect for that.

That said, do check out some of the major expansions modders have created, as many of them rival some of Bethesda’s official ones in terms of size and scope.
I’d also recommend looking into the The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake being made in Skyrim, which is an insane task but one that’s been making headlines with how impressive it looks.
