It's the perfect time to try Star Wars Outlaws for yourself following the surprise release of a free download.
Ubisoft has decided to get in on the ongoing Star Wars celebration fun by releasing a special free download for its criminally underrated open-world Star Wars game.
Starting today, you can download a free demo for Star Wars Outlaws across all platforms.

"As scoundrel Kay Vess, experience the iconic planet of Tatooine alongside your loyal companion, Nix, as you seek out a mercenary to join your crew," Ubisoft writes.
The demo offers the first free hours of the game, which should give you a good feel for the open-world exploration, combat, and even space travel if you're quick enough.
If you fancy it - and we really can't recommend this game enough - the demo is available now on PC via Ubisoft's Store, PlayStation, and Xbox.
In our own review of Star Wars Outlaws, we gave the game an 8/10.

"Star Wars Outlaws is a great Star Wars game," Sam Cawley wrote at the time. "It was refreshing to play something that puts you in the shoes of a normal individual rather than an all-powerful force user. Playing as a scoundrel was a lot of fun, and the growth you feel as a player when acquiring upgrades, completing missions and bending the factions to your favour felt like it mirrored Kay’s progression very well."
It's certainly an exciting day to be a Star Wars fan.
Elsewhere during the Star Wars celebration we spoke with Pedro Pascal about The Mandalorian And Grogu, saw a teaser for a brand-new movie starring Ryan Gosling, and got our first look at the brand-new Darth Maul series.
