It is hard to believe that Star Wars Outlaws has been out since August and, despite the game seemingly disappearing beneath the weight of other 2024 releases, Ubisoft is dedicated to keeping the single-player title updated.
In our Star Wars Outlaws review, we called it “a mash-up of different well-known action adventure games but with a Star Wars aesthetic” and praised it for its immersive environments, nice player progression and new canon characters.

However, with an open-world feeling sadly empty, inconsistent combat and a non-original story, Star Wars Outlaws found itself being met with mixed reviews.

That being said, Ubisoft is seemingly hard at work on making Outlaws a more enjoyable experience for players which is why it has just released its 1.3.0 Update.
This newest update focuses on changes to stealth, which will give players more flexibility when it comes to approaching certain combat situations.
Of course, it also comes alongside standard bug fixes and general improvements such as improved overall stability and FPS drops as well as commonly reported crashes.
As for gameplay, there are now increased and improved quest checkpoints, improved manual and autosave features, improved NPC and player animations and the “wanted” difficulty now scaling based on player progression.

There are also improvements dedicated to Outlaws’ UI and HUD settings, audio, cinematics, camera, photo mode and accessibility.
Travel across the open-world will also be a lot easier with the chances of crashing being slimmed down to make traversing a whole lot easier.
Although Update 1.3.0 added a ton of improvements and fixes, Ubisoft has still not fixed performance on PC despite being aware of the issue.
There is also an ongoing issue affecting PC users after the recent 24H2 Windows Update but developers are working on this as well.

Last but not least, Ubisoft has revealed that it is working on Update 1.4.0 and it will be released on 21 November.
It is said to be its biggest one yet.
