A brand new mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has added a “2 hour” long quest to the game that’s looking to explore one of the game’s end quests, in which the Stormcloaks rose to victory.
Blood of the Nord is a new quest mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from authors Someguy2000 and Sulhir over on Nexus that seeks to “explore the aftermath of a Stormcloak victory”.
Sulhir explains that Blood of the Nord actually “serves as the opening chapter in a series of plugins that explore the aftermath of Stormcloak victory, including the inevitable war with the Aldmeri Dominion,” so it sounds like there’s an awful lot of story still to come.

They also note that to start the mod, you have to have already completed the Civil War questline and, obviously, have sided with the Stormcloaks in the process.
At this point, a new quest will appear in Solitude that prompts you to speak to Hfolf Witch-Slayer who will then “dispatch you on several introductory quests.”
It also sounds like you’ll be offered some potentially difficult choices throughout the course of the story, as Sulhir notes that the events that “defined the civil war are now gone, replaced by shifting, uncertain alliances and murky morality.”
They promise that it also adds "over 500 lines of dialogue", a new weapon, and "several new dungeons and small worldspaces".

According to Sulhir, the entire quest is also fully voiced and features seven unique voice actors who lent their talents to the mod.
Even though the mod is barely 24 hours old, the player feedback is already extremely positive. One player even described it as “One of [their] favorite mods ever” in the comments on Nexus.
Well, I’m sold. It’ll distract me for a couple of hours while I wait for The Elder Scrolls VI at least…
