At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, there was one notable omission during the Marvel panel. It’s no secret that Ryan Reynolds’ merc with a mouth is heading to the MCU, yet there was no mention of Deadpool 3. It’s previously been teased that Deadpool 3 will be a “fish-out-of-water” story and don’t worry, it’ll still be R-rated too. Well, Deadpool 3’s SDCC absence is finally being addressed as Reynolds has taken to Twitter to make a major announcement.
Speaking of Marvel, the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is just around the corner. Check out the trailer below.
Ryan Reynolds has announced that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will officially return in Deadpool 3. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have quite the ongoing faux feud so it’ll certainly be exciting to see the duo team-up in real life, particularly given that Wolverine and Deadpool are good friends (well, most of the time). Check out the announcement below.
If you haven’t seen Logan and you plan to: Warning, you’re going to want to look away now because it’s spoiler time. Logan originally marked the end of Jackman’s time as Wolverine, and it was as final as an ending possibly can be because the titular character died. This begs the question: how will Wolverine appear in Deadpool 3?

Let’s not forget about Marvel’s favourite narrative tool at the moment: the multiverse. It’s possible that we could see another universe’s Wolverine. Reynolds also announced that the film is set to be released on 6 September, 2024, so we’ve got a lengthy wait ahead of us.
