Redfall’s player numbers have dwindled down to double-digits, in what’s considered to be one of the biggest Xbox flops of all time.
Arkane Studio’s Xbox-exclusive vampire-hunting FPS game Redfall released in early May of this year and was met with harsh criticism from players and critics. The game’s Steam page currently shows reviews as mostly negative.
Take a look at Redfall's announcement trailer below.
The main criticisms were in its gameplay, which was branded as dull and generic, and also littered with bugs, glitches and performance problems.

To add insult to injury, Redfall’s players have dwindled to laughable numbers, not even breaking into triple-digits, cementing the game as a failure that won’t be rising from the dead anytime soon.
A screenshot of Redfall’s concurrent player stats was shared on Reddit by sadiqfaizee, revealing there’s been an all-time peak of 6,124 players in the last four months (since its launch day). It also showed at the time of taking the screenshot, there was a peak of 47 players in the last 24 hours, and 15 players online when the screenshot was captured.
Obviously, that’s not very good, but players weren’t at all surprised by the lack of interest in the game. “Lmao, 15 people too much,” said one Reddit user. “Hahah oof. It's been four months, They had a chance to patch it or give a roadmap, but even if they do patch it, the game is dead with the exception to those who would dabble with it on their Game Pass,” said another.
“More people have commented on this post than have played in the last 24 hours, GG,” read one comment. It’s highly unlikely the game’s player count will get any better, especially since there are no plans to support the game with new content. That being said, even if new content was added, it likely wouldn’t make a difference since the game just wasn’t fun in the first place.
