A long overdue feature has been made available to those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
One of the best benefits of being an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber other than having access to additional Ubisoft titles and the EA Play service, is that you can stream games straight to your mobile, tablet, PC or directly from the console.

Being able to stream games with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PlayStation Plus Premium is not only a massive time saver but it also means that you can play games without having to take up a huge chunk of your storage space.

The only major concern is whether or not you have a decent enough broadband connection to stream without interruption.
However, if there is one caveat when streaming games is that this feature is only compatible with titles included in the Xbox Game Pass library or at least it was.
As brought to our attention by XboxEra (via Xbox Wire), if you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you can now stream select digital games you own and not just those included in the Xbox Game Pass library.

“Xbox with the W,” replied ItchyButRash.
This feature was previously only available via the Xbox Play web browser but now it’s available on consoles. So, if you own the likes of Assassin’s Creed Shadows or Hogwarts Legacy, you can stream them to the compatible platform of your choosing.
There are currently over 100 compatible owned games that you can stream with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, with even more titles being added in the months ahead.
No doubt, this feature is especially helpful for those who play on Xbox Series S with limited storage and now games such as Baldurs Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 will no longer be such a burden.
