Xbox Free Play Days are upon us once again, and this time around there’s some fantastic games to dive into.
From 10 August until 14 August, a selection of Assassin’s Creed games will be free to download and play, as well as Elder Scrolls too. The only problem we see with this deal is how on earth gamers will find the time to play them all!
Watch the official gameplay for AC Mirage!
The games available are: Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations, Black Flag, Valhalla, and Elder Scrolls Online.

Although not every AC game is free to play, it’s fair to say that at least two of those titles are among the best the franchise has offered. With us paying particular attention to Black Flag. After all, fans didn’t crown Edward Kenway the best AC protagonist for no reason – he’s a badass.
If you want to avoid microtransactions that started to appear as the franchise progressed, with those same features leaked ahead of Mirage’s release, this is your chance. You can return to Ezio’s time, when the world was simple, the outfits extra fabulous, and the assassination’s some of the most visually stunning. Come on now, it was set in Renaissance Italy.
In addition to these truly stellar games, Crash Team Rumble is also said to appear during the event, specifically available from 12 August.
This news is big, we’re not going to lie. However, Free Play Days are an advantage that only Xbox Game Pass Ultimum and Live Gold get to experience. We get that those subscriptions cost money, though do remember that these events happen on a regular basis, typically every week.

Unlike Ubisoft, who is also doing some great deals across new-gen consoles for AC right now. The deal there is also a sweet one, and infinitely rarer. Of course, if you’re an Xbox owner with a fancy pass, why go through Ubisoft?
Xbox Free Play Days will run from 10 August until 14 August.
