Many gamers are considering the current generation of consoles to be a disappointment, feeling like the technology is either a stop-gap or a missed opportunity, depending on who you ask.

Reacting to this news, gamers on Reddit have branded this generation of consoles as a “waste of time”.

With the advent of tools like Unreal Engine 5, and with gamers asking for bigger, more in-depth games, it takes several years to meet expectation.
It’s worth considering though, we’re still a couple of years away from the next batch of consoles, so there’s still time for bangers to be released.
