Rocksteady Studios is seemingly set to return to familiar territory.
It’s no secret that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was considered to be a disaster for the studio - and one many of us saw coming.
The live-service title was panned by critics and players alike, with its online servers eventually shutting down just last month.

To say Rocksteady fell from grace would perhaps be an understatement; Suicide Squad paled in comparison to the preceding Arkham Trilogy.
It’s believed that Rocksteady is currently assisting Avalanche Software, a fellow Warner Bros. developer, on a definitive edition of Hogwarts Legacy.
Beyond this though, the studio looks set to return to what it knows best.
When Suicide Squad launched its final content update, it was revealed that the Justice League hadn’t actually been eliminated.

The heroes that were killed were simply clones, leaving the door open for a return of the Arkham Trilogy’s Batman.
If you’re a Batman fan and you haven’t yet watched The Penguin, you should change that.
Well, in recent weeks, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier confirmed that, to his knowledge, it is a single-player Batman game that Rocksteady is cooking up next.

The existence of the game isn’t all that’s ‘leaked’ though.
As reported by Techtroduce, leaker Lunatic Ignus is also claiming that the game could be a PlayStation exclusive.
They further added that the game will supposedly be inspired by Batman Beyond, although would not share its animated art style.
Instead, it will reportedly inspire the narrative arc of a new game trilogy.

As for the PlayStation exclusivity, Ignus notes the game as likely releasing on PlayStation 6 and PC only.
I’m going to urge you to take all of this with a hefty mountain of salt.
While Schreier is a reliable source, I fear it may be too early to ascertain any other details - even if Ignus has provided accurate PlayStation tidbits in the past.
Warner Bros. Games don't have a history of offering much in the way of exclusivity beyond skins and DLC missions, so I’d keep an open mind.

Bottom line is that it’s nice to see Rocksteady picking itself back up after a fall.
