Would MCU fans ever want Disney and Marvel to attempt to bring back Iron Man, in a Logan-style film?
This is a question posed by one fan on Reddit, who wonders what Tony Stark got up to during the ‘blip,’ after Thanos snapped away 50% of the population.
Tony Stark had to come out of retirement to finish off Thanos
User, LollipopChainsawZz, suggests that the villains weren’t eradicated after the snap, so Tony could have been out saving the day, living through his misery after failing to stop Thanos.

The Redditor poses the idea that this could be a “finale for the character.”
After all, it’s a five-year period, he must have been up to something during that time.
It’s an interesting thought, but one that many wouldn’t want to see happen.
“Endgame was his finale,” said lushguy105, in reply.

Is this even something Marvel would do? Considering they’ve brought back Robert Downey Jr. to play Doctor Doom, I’d say not.
“I'd watch it, but I don't think it's the best use of resources,” said another Redditor.
Some fans are quick to point out that Tony became rather reclusive after failing to stop catastrophe, rarely venturing out, and sort of semi-retiring.
“Dude, the events of the blip in Infinity war gave Tony such trauma that I don't think he's worn a suit till Endgame,” said CaptainAksh_G.

One fan pleads for the Marvel audience to move on, exclaiming, “Dear god, can we please move on from the f**king Blip.”
Aside from bringing in cash, it wouldn’t make much sense to film another Iron Man film, unless the mantle was passed on.
There are more stories to tell, with more characters to explore.
As JameSdEke says, “At this point, Marvel needs to move forward and not backwards.”

If it did happen, sure, we’d all watch it, but the MCU doesn’t need this film right now - at least that’s the feeling from the fans.
