You’re going to want to take advantage of this limited-time offer.
Steam users can currently grab Metro 2033 Redux for free, no strings attached - it’s yours to keep forever.
Developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver, Metro 2033 Redux originally launched back in 2014.

You don’t need to worry if you haven’t played a Metro game before, because Metro 2033 Redux is essentially a remaster of the franchise’s original release, Metro 2033, which launched in 2010.
“In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the Earth's surface into a poisonous wasteland,” teases the synopsis.
“A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilisation entered a new Dark Age. The year is 2033.”
If you enjoy post-apocalyptic media, are you tuning into The Last of Us’ second season?
You’ll play as Artyom, “born before the last days of the fire, but raised underground”.

Artyom has never ventured beyond the city limits before, but before long, a crucial event forces him to journey into the city’s Metro system in order to warn the remnants of mankind about a powerful new threat.
Metro 2033 Redux was rebuilt in the 4A Engine, so this is a far more polished experience than was provided in the original release.
Lighting, physics, and dynamic weather are all vastly improved here, while several of Metro: Last Light’s gameplay features were also introduced for the remaster.
With that, players should experience improved AI, controls, animations, and weapon handling.

Typically, Metro 2033 Redux would set you back £17.79 on Steam but as I mentioned, you can currently pick it up for nothing.
That offer is only running though until 16 April at 4pm BST so you don’t have long to get involved.
