Another day, another Grand Theft Auto VI second trailer theory due to an upcoming milestone… but does this one actually have any merit?
Hey, I doubt it, but let’s break it down just in case. You know that as soon as we don’t cover one of these theories, it’ll end up being the one that’s actually true.
A few days ago, over on the r/GTA6 subreddit, one user posted a rather cryptic message: “7 Days from now. Mark my words.”

So, seven days until what, exactly?
That post is four days old, so in three days it’ll be… Friday the 18th of April. What exactly is the significance of this date?
Well, it’s less to do with the date itself and more to do with the milestone that will have been hit by the time it rolls around.
On Friday, it will have officially been 500 days since Rockstar Games released the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI back on December 4th, 2023.

Yup. That’s it. That’s the whole theory. To be fair, we’ve had worse. At least they’re not tracking the phases of the moon anymore.
Oh no– I spoke too soon. People in the comments are still waffling about the moon theory.
“I’m actually feeling a little further out than that. Tuesday, April 22nd has a Waning Gibbous on the Friday before (if you’re a moon theory fella),” commented user BingZirk.
“Or Thursday, April 24th is the anniversary of the release of that song “Love is a Long Road” which would be poetic.”

“What if it's a combo of the moon theory and the shirt theory?” replied user TechnologySharp718.
“Like they put April 1st but what if they meant just April. And what if it was always gonna be on a weigning gibbous.”
Good lord. Well, there you go, you get three theories for the price of one in this article.
I’m pretty sure whenever a Rockstar Games rep sees you guys make these theories up, they intentionally choose not to release the second trailer on those specific days.

Although saying that, would there be any days left in the year for them to actually drop a trailer if that was the case?
