Released in 2022, developers The Pokémon Company and Nintendo are supporting Pokémon Scarlet and Violet with brand-new content giving fans even more reason to return to the popular adventure RPG.
Despite its popularity and continued support, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet aren't the most well-received entries in the legendary Nintendo series. With a Metacritic score of 70 from critics and just 4.9 from fans, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are one of the lowest-rated games in the series.

At launch, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was plagued with so many bugs and performance issues, that many fans demanded refunds. Thankfully from what I hear (from my son at least) is that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are in much better states now.

So if you were initially put off by the launch woes of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, now could be the perfect time to jump back into the Paldea region. Later this week, starting on Friday, 6 September to Sunday, 8 September, Incineroar will be appearing at black Tera Raid crystals.
Incineroar will reappear once more in the four-player seven-star raid on Friday, 13 September (unlucky) until Sunday, 15 September. In case you didn't know, Tera Raids are no picnic in the park and you will need to gather friends in the hope of defeating this overpowered fire/dark-type Pokémon.
However, it must be stated that before taking on this Raid, if you’ve previously caught Incineroar in a Tera Raid, you will not be able to add a second to your save. That being said, it can be caught on new campaign saves, so it’s not all bad news.

What’s more, before participating in the Raid, be sure to download the latest Poké Portal News via the in-game X menu. Then select Mystery Gift and then check Poké Portal News. You should then be good to go.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are out now on the Nintendo Switch. The next entry in the series is Pokémon Legends Z-A arriving in 2025.
