The Christmas gifts from Nintendo just don’t stop coming this month, as they’ve revealed that a Pokémon Scarlet and Violet-related freebie is now available to claim.
Well, uh, actually… it was already technically available for quite some time, it just seems that they’ve randomly decided to start advertising the fact that it’s available now (for some reason).
As revealed on the official Nintendo Twitter account, music from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can now be nabbed through the official Nintendo Music app.

You’re not losing it if you could have sworn that this isn’t new, as most of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet tracks have been on the Nintendo Music app for quite some time now.
Although saying that, it appears to be news to a lot of folks on the Tweet who are thrilled at the announcement.
If you have no idea what Nintendo Music is, it’s basically Spotify for Nintendo songs.
ICYMI: Pokémon Legends Z-A launches on Nintendo systems next year.
The app first dropped at the end of October this year, and Nintendo has been adding more and more music to the app over the past couple of months.

The latest of these additions was less than a few days ago, as Nintendo announced that they’d added music from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword to the service.
To get access to the app and listen to everything on offer, you have to be a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber.
I can’t personally say that it would be worth paying for the subscription just to have access to the service, but if you are a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber anyway it is a nice little bonus.
However, if listening to music from the games on the go isn’t to your liking, how does nabbing a free Shiny Rayquaza in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet sound instead?

I’m much more of a fan of the latter freebie but, hey, to each their own.
