A “formidable foe” is headed to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet as part of a limited-time event.

If you intend to catch ‘em all, you’ll want to act with haste.

We’re, of course, talking about Tera Raids.

These events, which are an integral part of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet experience, are a fantastic way to add rare Pokémon to your party.

For this new event, which will run from 20 September until 22 September, there’s a Serperior up for grabs.

But not just any Serperior – this Pokemon has the Mightiest Mark, and its Tera type is Grass. All in all, it’s a unique monster to add to your growing collection.

Naturally, due to its rarity, only one Serperior can be caught per save data. This means that if you’ve caught a Serperior before in previous Tera Raid events, you won’t be able to catch this one; however, you can still battle it.

What is more, you’ll need to have completed certain post-game moments to unlock five star and above Tera Raids.

If you’ve yet to do this, you can still take part in this event, however, you’ll need to do so via the multiplayer option.

All the details for this event can be found on the Pokémon website.

Should you miss out on this limited-time experience, the same Tera Raid will come around again from 27 September until 29 September.

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company like to give you a fighting chance of becoming a Pokémon Master.

When you’re not battling, you’ll likely be catching up with the latest developments between Nintendo and Palworld after the publisher announced it's suing its competitor.

How Palworld will fare is anyone’s guess, though we suspect it won’t escape unscathed. After all, Nintendo isn’t known for going easy on those encroaching on its territory.

Although you can’t be physically involved in that battle, you can be involved with the battle to catch the mighty Serperior.
