The release date for GTA VI is looking like it’ll be sometime in Spring 2025, based on Take-Two’s upcoming quarterly review periods.
Ever since we had our first glimpse at GTA VI, we’ve been dying to know when it’s releasing. That awfully vague release window of 2025 has everybody guessing but fans think they’ve narrowed it down to Spring.
The GTA VI trailer is finally here, watch it for yourself below
Eagled-eyed fans spotted dates for the next quarterly review meetings of Take-Two Interactive, which is Rockstar Games’ parent-company. While Take-Two has nothing to do with the development or release of GTA VI, it’s certainly in a position to know of its launch date. Whatever profits the game makes will go directly into the pockets of Take-Two, and it’s expected to be a lot considering the sheer amount of income GTA V and its online microtransactions made over its life-span.

The next quarterly review meeting is scheduled for 4 February 2024, which fans believe is a safe bet for confirming a release window.
As for predictions, the current state of the game based on the trailer seemingly suggests it’s close to being finished. After all, the gameplay shown looked fantastic and the glimpses we had of the open world operating in full swing looked smooth and incredibly realistic, too realistic for an early build.
Fans think it’s a safe bet to claim the game will release early in 2025, somewhere between January or April, with some more specific predictions being Valentine's Day due to the theme of love and devotion that’ll be featured in the game’s story.
The novelty shouldn’t be lost on anyone that we’ve now shifted from “when will the trailer be released?” to “when will the game be released?,” so you best believe that even the smallest activity from Rockstar Games or Take-Two will have fans on the edge of their seat, just in case any hints can be gleaned from them.
