Grand Theft Auto VI is coming, at some point. We just don’t know when. It’s a situation that has Grand Theft Auto fans over-analysing every single thing Rockstar does, in the hopes of uncovering a scrap of information about the game. When GTA VI is officially revealed, I’m pretty certain that it’s going to break the internet.
Earlier this year, Rockstar fell victim to a major cyber attack during which, an hour’s worth of GTA VI development footage was leaked online alongside screenshots and source code. It confirmed one thing: development is well underway. It looks as if GTA VI’s map is set to be huge - with some fans even complaining that it may be too big. Can a map be too big? Today though, fans think they’ve uncovered a GTA VI teaser in the latest GTA Online update.
Take a look at this incredible mod which lets you play as The Boys’ Homelander in GTA V.
As reported by Dextero, GTA Online fans have seemingly uncovered hints of a new location - and it’s not Vice City or Los Santos. As discovered by Twitter user ClassiqueGTA, the clue lies in an unreleased shirt called ‘Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar,’ which features an image of a modified taxi. The user wrote, “Interestingly the skyline in the background is not from Los Santos, as pointed out by WildBrick142 and friends. Do with this finding as you will.”
You can imagine what happened next. Inevitably, the entirety of the GTA fanbase took this to be a GTA VI easter egg. One user wrote, “That mountain throws off the idea that it’s Vice City,” while another added “I wonder if this is just some random skyline or another city set to be featured in GTA VI, like Port Gelhorn.”

As Dexerto points out, it could just be an unusual-looking version of Los Santos with Mount Chiliad on it. It certainly would be strange of Rockstar to tease a new location in such an obscure way when the recent leak seemed to confirm that GTA VI would be set in Vice City. I suppose time will tell.
