Rockstar Games decided to tweet a goofy and silly new trailer yesterday, so the Grand Theft Auto VI fanbase decided to respond in kind.
Yesterday was the 20th day of the 4th month of the year. This is important to many, as some people’s entire personalities revolve around the consumption of a plant.
Alright, jokes aside, yes, yesterday was weed day. Marujiana Sunday. Jazz cigarette o’clock. To celebrate, Rockstar Games dropped a playful little trailer on their socials for Grand Theft Auto Online.

I don’t believe that the trailer was associated with any kind of GTA Online-related drops or rewards. It’s just a silly clip of someone getting stoned and what appears to be Chop chilling alongside them.
That’s really all there is to it, which is why it may surprise some of you that everyone in the comments is upset.
“We can't enjoy anything before gta 6 has a release date and pre order” commented user @mrpyo1.
“Starting to think this account has been hacked. Maybe if everyone reports it, it will get taken down,” replied user @MarsResident027.

“That way if it IS legit, maybe then they will realize we don’t f**king care. We want GTA6. Cmon internet. Let’s do this.”
Jeez, maybe if some of these guys followed Rockstar’s advice and smoked a little bit of the good stuff, they’d chill out.
I get it, you’re all very excited about your upcoming video game. Just leave the poor person running Rockstar Games’ social account out of it. They don’t get to decide what goes up on here.
They’ll drop the new trailer whenever they’re good and ready, but whatever underpaid intern is running that Twitter account doesn’t get to decide when that is.

Relax. Maybe take a hit of the spicy forbidden vape pen and let things run their course.
