Three things are certain in life: death, taxes, and me bringing you a new crackpot Grand Theft Auto VI second trailer theory every single week until it actually drops.
But, has the community actually cooked this time around? Have they finally figured out exactly when Rockstar Games and Take-Two will drop this thing for real this time?
Well… let’s just say I think this theory has a lot more weight than 95% of all the other ones they’ve been waffling about for the past two years.

On the plus side, the theory is very, very easy to explain this time around.
Take-Two, Rockstar Games' parent company, have just announced that they're holding an investors call on May 15 to report on their fourth quarter for 2025.
Unlike the last time we had one of these investor calls, this one is a little bit more relevant in regards to Grand Theft Auto VI’s release.
Why? Well, GTA VI is supposed to release in the fourth quarter of 2025. It would be kind of weird if they didn’t mention it.

But what do the folks over on the r/GTA6 think about all this?
“Worth noting that this call, unlike the others, sets out the forecast for the fiscal year ahead,” commented user Valuable_Economist14.
“That means more detail than usual in relation to the business activities and expected revenue for the year ahead. If the game is coming in Fall, I’d be expecting to hear a bit more than the usual line.”
“I believe the game is already basically complete and could be released tomorrow with little issues, they’re probably just scrubbing and refining it heavily,” replied user Prior-Entrance2138.

In short, it does seem likely that Take-Two might want another trailer for GTA VI to drop just prior to the investors' call… so they can keep the folks that pay their bills happy.
Hopefully, I’ll see you back here in just under a month with some good news (for once).
