GTA 6's second trailer is already tearing fans apart, here we go

It’s been a few weeks since Rockstar Games dropped its debut trailer for GTA VI and while excitement has calmed a little, fans are already hyped for the second trailer.

When the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer was released earlier than Rockstar Games had intended, it’s fair to say it sent social media into a frenzy. At the time of writing, the debut GTA VI trailer has over a whopping 155 million views on YouTube.

Rockstar Games has given us no indication as to when the next Grand Theft Auto VI trailer will drop - or have they? By examining the main key art for GTA VI, Redditor 27guy believes that bullet holes seen on the side of the car in which Jason and Lucia are sitting might reveal the month of when the next trailer will drop for the highly anticipated game.

“Next GTA VI trailer in September?” suggested 27guy to fellow Reddit users. 27guy used morse code to translate the holes to '1/9/more' hence the trailer drop in September theory.

Obviously, this could mean absolutely nothing. After all, there are six bullet holes, so it could just represent the number six in the next GTA title. Before the launch of GTA V, Rockstar Games did release a few trailers for the game, not including character spotlights or GTA Online. Having to wait nearly a year for the next GTA VI trailer does seem quite excessive, so I’m really hoping that it drops months earlier than that. However, I am an impatient person.

Much of the Reddit thread has reacted to 27guy’s post in a very tongue in cheek fashion. “Six bullet holes, eh? I think someone shot the car six times,” said a sarcastic KapilRB.

“Right picture, wrong area to focus on. The time and date of the next trailer is in the three palm trees. If you convert this image and then isolate the proxy, you can clearly see it but you'll need a TPS viewer,” replied PrawojazdyVtrumpets. “I had to delete my fat32 to make room but once I did, I threw my computer out the window with what I saw. You won't believe it.” Very funny.

There’s no telling when the next GTA VI trailer will arrive. Let's just hope it doesn't leak this time.
