Grand Theft Auto VI’s trailer just hit a very impressive milestone on YouTube… but, that’s kinda just annoyed people who are desperate for Rockstar Games to reveal some new info.
Thank you in advance to Screen Rant's Brandon Key for their original story!
Grand Theft Auto VI’s latest trailer now has over a quarter of a billion views on YouTube! Yay!

And said “latest trailer” is still the same bloody one we watched back in December 2023. Boo!
I’m sure this is news worth celebrating for both Take-Two and Rockstar Games, but the folks over on the r/GTA6 subreddit seem very divided as to whether or not this news is worth celebrating.
“Why do people care so much about trailer, sales numbers? We all know they're doing well, which means GTA VI will be expensive, well-developed, and probably revolutionary,” commented user cookie_flash.
“Right now, we should only care about new information, but... there isn't any, literally zero.”

“I remember the trailer for V,” replied user whoisape.
“I managed to click on it while it had like 100 views or so (the counter was bugged for the first few mins) and to think that even the trailer for VI has 250M views now… I cant wait, being a lifelong fan of GTA is great.”
Honestly, as much as I understand the anger, I think there’s actually a much, much funnier angle to this entire story.
Grand Theft Auto VI’s trailer is currently the second most-watched video game trailer in YouTube’s history. Makes you wonder what other game could have possibly taken the top spot from what seems to be the most anticipated game in history.

Could it be another Rockstar title? Red Dead Redemption II, maybe? Or is it another hotly anticipated title? Something like The Elder Scrolls VI, for instance?
Nope. It’s Subway Surfers. That’s not a joke. It currently has 361 million views.
Subway Surfers trailer 2 gonna go crazy.
