Over the past decade, we have been inundated with leaks, rumours and insider information surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI and although some of it has been hard to believe, other sources have seemingly featured a grain of truth.
Now with Grand Theft Auto VI expected to launch in just a few months, we are in the homestretch and despite the second official trailer being nowhere to be seen, a recent Reddit post has captured the attention of fans.
Check out the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI below!
That is because the poster claims to have worked as a QA on GTA VI for a short period last year, giving them access to some early test builds of the game.

As a result, they have written multiple posts alluding to some of the features we can expect to see in the next Rockstar title.
As the user has written quite a bit, I encourage you to check the post out yourself (which has since been re-posted by another user) but let us take a look at some of the key points ourselves.
The apparent QA first focuses on the map for GTA VI which will be “more countryside than people think”. Areas will consist of “backwater Florida mixed with weird swamp cult vibes” and weird events often pop up in the map’s “meth county”.
An interesting point is their explanation of “NPC memory” as apparently, NPCs will remember your actions a lot more than ever before. If you robbed them three days previously, they will remember you. Shopkeepers will recognise you if you caused chaos at their store and even cops act differently if they had previously had a run-in with you.

“It’s like the world doesn’t forget”, the QA explained.
They also mentioned new interactions with the police. Players will be able to hide items just before their cars are searched by them, even if that means making use of glove boxes or space under the seats.
“AI seemed to respond to where you were looking or how fast you moved too”.
Driving feels a lot more dynamic and shooting random NPCs in the street will have a lot more impact, both on society and to the player as deaths are a lot more gruesome.

The QA also claims that GTA VI’s story is a bit slow to begin with but stuff soon starts “falling apart” around us, making the narrative a lot more personal.
As mentioned, the post by this ex-employee is extensive and definitely worth a look for yourself but based on our previous knowledge of the game, a lot of it seems pretty trustworthy.
Luckily, we only have a few months left until we can find out for ourselves.
