One leaker seems to think they know exactly when Grand Theft Auto VI is going to drop, and you’ll be thrilled to learn what date they believe Rockstar Games is planning to release it.
Thank you in advance to Comic Book’s Tyler Fischer for their article!
So, we already officially know roughly when Grand Theft Auto VI is supposed to release.

As long as nothing gets delayed or pushed back, Rockstar Games has previously stated that the title should drop sometime in Q4 of 2025. So, somewhere around September at the earliest, and December at the latest.
We should be getting a proper confirmation of that on May 15, during Take-Two’s next investors call meeting.
However, one leaker thinks they can narrow it down to an exact day ahead of time.
As revealed by Detective Seeds on Twitter, Grand Theft Auto VI should apparently be with us sometime in “mid” November.

“Do you think gta 6 will be released in November?” asked user @Sungba_Laja.
“Yeah mid, unless something happened and it is going to be delayed,” replied user @DetectiveSeeds.
“Playstation knows when it dropping, so to move this in that october slot they are comfortable with the time it has to perform.”
Well, as great as that sounds, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Detective Seeds’ “leaks” have been on a bit of a downward trend recently.
There was a time their leaks were pretty on point, but they’ve dropped enough bogus info recently that even the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit has banned them as a source.
Still, they’ve been right plenty of times before. Although saying that, this info is vague enough that I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just more of an educated guess on their behalf than a proper leak.
Personally, I’d wait to see what we hear out of that investors call meeting before getting too excited. Here’s hoping they drop the second trailer just before too, to keep the board of investors happy.
