With the recent news that Grand Theft Auto 6’s publisher Take-Two has an earnings call coming up soon, many fans believe a new announcement may also be on the docket.
We are still over a year away from Grand Theft Auto 6 and despite us now having one official trailer and a loose release date, we still want more. However, we may just be in luck courtesy of a finding by one Twitter user.
Check out the first official Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer below!
Discovered within Rockstar Game’s API, Twitter user when_vi has uncovered some brand-new URLs which could hint at some screenshots and covert art for GTA 6 going live soon.

Although the URLs aren’t activated yet and will take users to a 404 page, they do show that we can expect four brand-new screenshots as well as key/cover art.
However, the question remains as to when they will go live and many fans speculate this could be around the same time Take-Two releases its upcoming earnings call on 16 May.
Not only that but according to one source, GTA 6 releasing in early 2025 all comes down to how successful Take-Two’s earnings even are.
If the company is on track with its eye-watering $7 billion in revenue, we would not only see the Rockstar title released in early 2025 but we could also get our second trailer as early as late May - early June of this year.

Overall, in and around May 16 could see fans treated to brand-new GTA 6 screenshots followed by another trailer in a few weeks time.
Whatever happens, fans are feeling optimistic about these possibilities and believe a second trailer and cover art this soon means an early 2025 release is possible. However, with no confirmation from Rockstar, it is worth taking this news with a pinch of salt.
