Last month, a whole load of (unofficial) details about GTA VI surfaced online by way of a Bloomberg report, and there was a lot to unpack. Assuming they’re true, we’ll be seeing a dynamic duo of leading characters, including a Latina woman, and an absolutely huge world - it apparently has more interior locations than GTA V, which was already ginormous.
It's also been claimed that GTA VI will take place in Vice City - take a look at the video below for a taste of what it could look like.
Excitingly, it was also claimed that players would see even more cities added to the game as post-launch content. A different report suggested that the upcoming title has actually been scaled down, and was originally meant to include three different cities from launch (as well as four protagonists), which could imply that its these additional scrapped cities that might be making a comeback in the future.

Now, as reported by Charlie INTEL, one prominent insider, Tez2, has taken to GTAForums to explain what they claim the current plans are for GTA VI’s post-launch content. Apparently, Rockstar will be going back to their pre-GTA Online success, and planning out single player DLC in advance of the game's release: “The first wave of ‘new cities and missions’ we will receive as DLC will definitely be planned out before VI releases,” the insider wrote. “And Rockstar will be able to allocate resources towards whatever new title they will work on after [VI’s] release. As for the new cities, I think for the most part we will receive instanced new cities or islands. Like Cayo Perico or North Yankton style. That way, Rockstar can introduce a new heist for the next GTA Online mode with each new DLC,” Tez2 continued. “If we are lucky, we could receive a fully fledged new city from time to time.”
As of now, this is all unofficial, so do take it with a pinch of salt.
