It’s an incredibly exciting time to be a Fallout fan, with Amazon Prime’s TV adaptation set to premiere on 11 April.
It’s not exactly Fallout 5 but it’s the next best thing. In fact, Todd Howard has teased that he had to tell showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy to remove certain plot points because they do actually feature in Fallout 5.
To coincide with the launch of the show, a real-life Pip-Boy is being released - and yes, it’s functional as well as just a cool accessory.

If you’re simply unable to make it to 11 April though without consuming some Fallout content to keep you satiated, may I draw your attention to the newly dropped Fallout 76 update, Atlantic City - America’s Playground.
Take a look at the trailer for Amazon’s Fallout show below.
All Fallout 76 players can now download the Atlantic City - America’s Playground update totally for free. It introduces several new quest lines, open exploration of Atlantic city, and brand new rewards.

“America’s Playground brings you back to Atlantic City, where Mayor Tim, in charge of the local Municipal Government, asks you to deal with the Overgrown threat that is taking over the flooded city centre,” the synopsis begins.
“Meanwhile, in Appalachia, the Russo family has evicted the Mothman cultists and turned the Ingram Mansion into a swanky night club. They seem to be doing well after escaping their blood-stained past in Atlantic City, but beneath the surface of their glamorous exterior, the Russos are harbouring some dark secrets, and they need your help.”
If that sounds enticing, then I should reiterate that the update is available to grab now. The new questline will see you seek out the Russo family’s dark secrets while exploration of the Boardwalk will reveal new side missions.
The update also features changes to seasons which includes a new Seasons Menu displaying all rewards.
