A supposed ‘leak’ of GTA VI has appeared on TikTok and while you could be fooled - which some have been - it’s quite clearly fake and fans are poking fun at the attempt.
The footage, which appeared randomly on the social media platform, shows some backstreets of Vice City including several vehicles and graffiti thrown up across the walls.

If you were to glance over the video quickly you could be convinced this is the real deal, but upon closer inspection, it’s clearly fake.

Not only have cars been modelled on real-world counterparts - something Rockstar Games wouldn’t do, but a parody Amazon delivery van just doesn’t lean into the concept hard enough.
Perhaps the most glaring detail is the use of Unreal Engine 5 assets.
Not only are they basic assets - Rockstar Games makes pretty much everything in-house, but GTA VI isn’t even being made on UE5.
You don’t have to look into the TikTok comments too far to find fans clowning on this attempt to fool.

One user spotted the real world cars right away and commented, “Isn't real, they wouldn't put 3 ford raptors in the same 10sec clip.”
A Twitter user was quick to jump in and declare this fake, “There is no way that’s GTA 6 lmafooo.”
I’m never sure what people hope to get out of creating something like this. Is it for clout? Some random internet points?
The footage was so quickly debunked that it can’t have been worth the work, right?

One fan on Twitter pointed out that even the graffiti isn’t original work, “Off the shelf font used as graffiti.”
Nothing gets past GTA VI fans though, as one notes, “Oh yeah, this is fake, looks nothing like the real leaks from before.”
Nice try internet person, I’d like to say you had us going, but I’d be lying.
