Even though fans want to be excited about Spider-Man 4, they can’t help but be concerned about its “crazy” plans.
Putting aside any negative associations with that word, crazy can mean a lot of different things, not all of it fun.
Given how chaotic all the multiverse exploration has been in the MCU, fans are concerned that we’re going to get even more convoluted narratives.

“I swear to god if this is anything other than a street level movie I’m done with the MCU,” exclaimed one Redditor.
Some believe that Spider-Man 4 will “blend” both a down-to-earth Spidey with a more epic multiverse one.
“I feel like the most likely thing is it being the two main rumors mashed together somehow. A street-level story on the surface that unravels into the multiverse and a connection to the Avengers story,” suggested burger__n__fries.

It would certainly live up to Tom Holland's claims that the next film is “crazy”.
“It’s a little different from anything we’ve done before but I think fans are gonna really respond to it,” Holland said according to Good Morning America.
Other Spider-Man 4 details are less polarising, with the first official teaser ensuring that fans remain hyped about who may appear in the film.
Production is underway, and clearly plans have been set in motion.
