Now, let’s get into those Avengers: Endgame spoilers, shall we? In the 2019 movie, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow played by Scarlett Johansson sacrificed herself instead of Hawk Eye so that he could claim the Soul Stone in the pursuit of defeating Thanos from wiping out half of all life in existence.
It was an emotional scene that broke the hearts of millions of cinema goers and one that many never saw coming unless you’re X-Men mutant Destiny (hopefully, we’ll see her in the MCU one day).
However, unlike another MCU character, Black Widow never had the send-off that she deserved and it seems that in the following movies, Marvel and Disney paid more attention to that character than her. This is something that has frustrated some passionate fans.
Well, as reported by The Direct, it seems that Marvel has finally remembered Black Widow with a fitting tribute, though it’s not made in the MCU but rather a live event. The event took place between 30 and 31 August at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles with the premiere of Marvel Studios’ Infinity Sage Concert Experience.
The event which had Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige in attendance featured all 23 Infinity Saga movies and during the second act, the tribute to Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow was made showing clips of the emotional scene from Avengers: Endgame.

In the comments section of the scene in question uploaded to The Direct’s YouTube channel, fans were happy to see Natasha get the respect that she was long overdue. “Finally, they actually gave her recognition and a proper tribute,” said toniilove1829.
“This destroyed my heart,” exclaimed amayacrg7 with Raniiii4 adding “I want to see that, they have to go on a world tour.”
You can watch the entire Infinity Saga on Disney Plus right now.
