The MCU has reached a turning point - one for the better, I should add.
The Multiverse Saga, for many years, was lacking. Lacking in hype, lacking in intrigue … Fans simply found it hard to get invested.
Deadpool & Wolverine was the first step back in the right direction.

It’s not a flawless film by any means, but the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman-fronted film was the kind of silly, fun action-romp that we’ve been waiting for.
Immediately following the film’s release, Marvel Studios returned to Hall H at San Diego Comic Con after a multi-year hiatus, this time revealing that Robert Downey Jr would be bringing Doctor Doom to life.
You can imagine the fanfare that led to. Agatha All Along has, so far, been well received - and the new Thunderbolts* trailer has left many feeling hyped.
Everything is falling into place and the future of the MCU feels bright and exciting once again.

But whether that future will feature a returning fan-favourite character continues to remain up in the air.
Take a look at the aforementioned Thunderbolts* trailer below.
Chris Evans’ Captain America hasn’t been seen since Avengers: Endgame.

As I’m sure you remember, Steve Rogers travels back in time to live out a full life with his love Peggy Carter, thus becoming an elderly version of himself in the present day.
With that in mind, it’s unlikely that Steve is going to be defending the world in the present day in his current physical state, but that doesn’t mean that we’ll never see the character again.
Actor Ross Marquand recently revealed at Edmonton Expo, via Cosmic Marvel, that he’s repeatedly pitched a Steve Rogers-centric show to Disney.
His idea? A mini-series following Rogers as he returns the Infinity Stones - something that’s skipped over in Avengers: Endgame.

It’s a stellar idea.
“Easiest Disney Plus series, tbh,” wrote one fan.
“This needs to happen,” added another, while one fan said, “YES. PLEASE!!!! MARVEL COULD EVEN CONNECT IT TO SECRET WARS.”
Whether this project ever comes to fruition or not though remains a mystery.
