We are in the post-Endgame era of the MCU and a new era means a brand-new face and this is one we can all agree on.
Spanning well over a decade, the Avengers we came to know and love finally laid down their weapons in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame and since then, we have been introduced to a brand-new era of Marvel heroes.
Check out the trailer for Disney+ WandaVision below!
(Even if the OGs do still sometimes pop up in certain projects).

In 2024 alone, the Multiverse has gone from strength to strength with movies such as Deadpool & Wolverine and television shows such as Agatha All Along and X-Men 97 breaking streaming and cinema records.
However, the Avengers era was dominated by one face in particular: Tony Stark.
With our Iron Man now hanging up his suit, however, we need a new poster child for the MCU and fans have agreed on one.
Scarlet Witch.

This discussion kicked off after one Twitter user said the following: “Can we just accept that Scarlet Witch has become the new face of the MCU? She’s easily the most talked-about and anticipated character right now, and her impact is undeniable!”
In response, industry insider MyTimeToShineHello said: “Marvel Studios is aware of this why they are making three spin offs to her show, plus a Scarlet Witch movie and gave her a major role in the Avengers movies.”
Played by Elizabeth Olsen, Scarlet Witch has starred in six Marvel movies as of 2023 and also had the lead role in 2021’s WandaVision.
So it is no surprise that fans agree with the new face of the MCU.

“Wanda has gained such prominence because her character has been deeply developed compared to others (trauma, self-acceptance),” one person replied.
“Her power elevates in an ascendent climax (she impacts the Multiverse) and her show tackles themes of love, loss, and identity, reflecting real-world issues.”
Another said: “People love that character so much. Elizabeth Olsen did an amazing job portraying Wanda/Scarlet Witch.
For me she is the most human, relatable, and most fleshed out character in the MCU.”

As with any Marvel-related opinion, this one is up for debate but it seems as though the vast majority would agree with our new poster child.
