A new trailer for Marvel's Thunderbolts* shows off the titular team of misfits facing off against their enemy, The Void.
It won't be long now until Thunderbolts* hits cinemas, and tickets are already on sale for Marvel fans eager to see the next chapter in the MCU.
Given that the film is expected to tie into the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, fans are anticipated to see where it leads the series.

With the amount of hype riding behind this film, Marvel has treated fans to a new international trailer which features quite a bit of new footage.
Thunderbolts* releases in UK cinemas on 1st May, 2025.
For starters, we see a little more of Lewis Pullman's Sentry. Although Sentry's appearance is still being held back from trailers and promotional shots, we do get a few short glimpses here.

Sentry is being dubbed as "Earth's Mightiest Hero" and "stronger than all the Avengers rolled into one" – sounds like someone you'd want protecting your world from big threats.
Of course, the trailer then shows Sentry going rogue – becoming "The Void" – and attacking the city. Therefore, it's up to the Thunderbolts to stop him.
We also see more clips of the Thunderbolts in action, especially scenes involving Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova and Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes.

In Marvel Comics lore, Sentry first debuted in 2000 and has become one of the strongest characters to appear. His powers have been described as "omnipotent" as he has bested the likes of Galactus, Ultron, and Doctor Doom.
However, "The Void" is Sentry's dark alter ego, and for every benevolent act Sentry performs, Void enacts an equally malevolent one (or at least attempts to).
It's an interesting setup for a superhero story, and it'll be interesting to see the MCU's take on Sentry.
Pullman is also expected to appear in Avengers: Doomsday next year along with most of the rest of the Thunderbolts* cast, so we expect he'll probably survive the events of the film.
