It is hard to believe that eleven actors have donned the cape and taken on the role of Batman throughout history so it is perhaps unsurprising that many of us have our favourites.
From Adam West to Michael Keaton, Christian Bale to Robert Pattinson, the Caped Crusader is one of the most recognisable superheroes of all time.
Check out the trailer for our most recent Batman movie, 2022's The Batman, below!
In more recent years, Batman has been played by Ben Affleck in 2017’s Justice League before Pattinson took over for 2022’s The Batman, the second of which will hopefully be getting a sequel in 2027.

However, a recent comment by actor Brandon Sklenar may hint at the American actor teaming up with DC to play Batman in future projects.
Sklenar is best known for starring in Westworld, and more recently 1923, but this will be his first role in the DCU if this rumour is true.
Courtesy of ScreenRant, Sklenar has hinted at being in contact with DC Studios about this potential role.
“I think there's some awareness of me on some level, probably… I know they're a ways away from doing that,” the actor said.

“That’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was a little kid and I’ve never even talked about it.”
However, despite the interview claiming that many fans “love” the idea of Sklenar as Batman, the comments on a ScreenTime post beg to differ.
“He wishes,” one user wrote, whilst another simply said, “No.”
Another comment read, “Just with some people you can just look at them and go 'Yeah, I don’t see it'. This is one of those moments.”

Of course, there are some who believe Sklenar would make the perfect Batman but, as we know, he has some big shoes to fill if it should ever go ahead.
