Star Wars fans are theorising whether Darth Plagueis is the secret father of one of the main characters, a stretch but maybe they’re onto something.
Out of all the Sith lords we encounter in the Star Wars films Darth Plagueis is up there as one of the most important ones.
He also appeared in live-action at the end of The Acolyte, so hopefully a Season 2 gets made so we can see what he’s up to
For starters he trained Palpatine and was also slain by Palpatine in order to get more power, so he’s responsible for the main antagonist of all three Star Wars trilogies.

Then he’s also partly responsible for Anakin’s downfall as a Jedi, as he supposedly unlocked the power to live forever due to being paranoid about death, the same way Anakin was paranoid about losing Padme.
Fans reckon that he might be a missing piece of the puzzle for Anakin’s origin, believing he could be the Jedi’s father.
It’s a very popular theory, and one that’s been the topic of multiple Reddit threads talking about Anakin, how he was born and how he’s so powerful.
Biologically Anakin has no father so it’s not a huge leap to believe some evil Sith lord did some dark side magic to bring him into existence, unless Plagueis is as strong with rizz as he was with the force.

While some fans are pretty open to this theory, many are not, believing Anakin was born through immaculate conception but not due to Plagueis, just due to the force itself, he was the chosen one after all.
That said Darth Plagueis is a very intriguing Star Wars character, and it’d be great to see him fully realised on the big screen one day, either as a main character in a film or TV show or at least seen in some flashback scenes.
