Wolverine has returned in a new video from Marvel, in what is probably his most confusing appearance to date.
Hugh Jackman's Logan officially entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he starred in last year's Deadpool & Wolverine.
With the film joking about Marvel making him do this "until he's 90", it seemed certain that more Wolverine appearances were on the way.

Deadpool & Wolverine has been one of the best Marvel projects of the past few years.
Interestingly, Hugh Jackman's name has been left off the official cast list for Avengers: Doomsday, despite X-Men alums like Patrick Stewart, James Marsden and Ian McKellan slated to appear.
This hasn't stopped Marvel from bringing Wolverine back though, and his official return has seemingly baffled MCU fans.

On 8th April, Marvel Entertainment uploaded an 8.5 hour video to YouTube titled "Wolverine Breathing Exercise". It's literally just over eight hours of Hugh Jackman breathing while in costume.
Weirdly though, he strikes a pose at several points throughout the video. The pose happens at approximately 2:34:45 and 4:17:58. See it for yourself.

"I need this explained like I’m Loki in Episode 1," wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter).
"He never gonna quit this role he loves it," wrote another.
Another fan was quick to point out the pose matches a cover from a Wolverine comic series (as well as a pose Jackman struck in his original Fox appearance). The similarities are pretty obvious, and it's possible this is the exact thing the video is meant to reference.
The video is no doubt a strange thing to publish, and whether it means anything for Wolverine's future film appearances or if it's just a silly thing Marvel made is yet to be revealed.

Since the video description reads "April is National Stress Awareness Month, so breathe deep and feel your adamantium bones melt away," we're leaning on the theory of it just being a fun video Disney's marketing team put together.
Still, fans would love to see Logan make an appearance in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which is due to release in cinemas May 2026. Whether he'll actually cameo in the film or instead appear in Secret Wars remains to be seen.
