Following the news that a 28 Days Later sequel was finally on the way after a 20-year wait, three of its cast members have now been announced.
First released back in 2002, 28 Days Later made quite a name for itself in the zombie horror genre. Directed by Danny Boyle and starring Oscar award-winner Cillian Murphy, it told the story of a deadly virus outbreak in London that turned everybody into braindead killers.

However, that is not all as according to a report by Deadline, Ralph Fiennes, Jodie Comer and Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be joining the cast of Danny Boyle and Alex Garland’s zombie flick.
The report confirms that this trio will only be part of the first of a three-movie run, but these award-winning actors are sure to bring a whole new army of fans to the post-apocalyptic series.
Fiennes is perhaps best known for his role as Harry Potter’s nemesis, Voldemort, in the fantasy series and has more recently starred in The Menu and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
As for Comer, she made a name for herself starring in Killing Eve alongside Sandra Oh and has since featured in Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.
