As you might expect, Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders are selling like mad, and resellers are already trying to capitalise on the chaos.
Nintendo officially revealed the Switch 2 earlier this month, with pre-orders going live not long after, depending on where you live.
The console, which retails for £395.99 in the UK, is predicted to sell 6–8 million units worldwide at launch.

Those are impressive numbers for sure, but demand has clearly outweighed supply, as Nintendo has even had to release a public apology for the fact that not everybody has been able to pre-order a console yet.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on 5th June.
Retailers are experiencing technical issues and diminished stock, and have even had to cancel orders in some cases.

Despite Nintendo trying hard to reduce the number of scammers and resellers with its lottery pre-order system, eBay is now being flooded with these types of listings.
Multiple Switch 2 pre-order listings have been made, with prices going as high as double the retail price. These listings are selling the console for as much as $750.
There are also multiple listings for what seem like Switch 2 consoles marked at slightly less than the retail price.
A good deal? The issue comes when you look at the fine print (thanks, GameSpot).

One listing reads:
"PRE-ORDER SCREENSHOT ONLY PLEASE NOTE!!!!!: You are ordering a picture of the Nintendo Switch 2. This listing is to fight bots and scalpers. No refunds. You will receive a png image of a switch 2. No console. Message me with any questions or offers!"
Hopefully if anyone does actually see this, they read the fine print first. These listings seem to outnumber the resellers who are selling at marked-up prices.
Either way, eBay is like the wild west at the moment if you're browsing for Nintendo-related items. Instead of scrolling through the site, we'd recommend you just wait for official retailers to have the console in stock.
