This Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Darth Vader mod is totally badass and should be an official DLC, if you ask me.
Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the direct sequel to 2019’s Fallen Order and takes place roughly five years after its events. With the Galactic Empire still hot on the heels of Cal Kestis and his loveable BD-1 droid, Cal must harness all of the Force and call upon new friends to help him fight back against the oppressors of the galaxy.

Unfortunately, despite being the recipient of much critical success, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has not been released in the best state with reports of bugs, glitches and performance issues plaguing social media, which resulted in the game being review bombed. Still, despite its shortcomings, that hasn't stopped fans from enjoying the game, especially when it comes to community mods on PC. As reported by DSOGaming, one such mod has been created by ‘jedijosh920’.

As the title of this article clearly suggests, the mod in question allows you to play as the all-powerful Sith Lord Darth Vader. What’s more, going above and beyond just being a re-skin, the Sith Lord even comes equipped with unique Force abilities and attack moves. The mod is currently behind a paywall via the Patreon page of jedijosh920. It’s unclear at this time whether it will one day be released for free public use.
In our review of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, we said it’s an “exceptional sequel, improving on every gripe fans had with Fallen Order while adding countless new features that'll keep players engrossed for a long, long time. It’ll take something really special to come out to stop Survivor from being the best action/adventure game of 2023.”
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. In related news, reports claim that the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake might not ever be released.
