Star Wars: Master of Evil, written by Adam Christopher, will apparently take us into the darkest story in Vader’s history.
The book is already available to pre-order, and will be released on 11 November 2025.
Featuring a striking cover from Simon Goinard, the book takes place in the years before A New Hope, and show us Vader in a very dangerous state of mind.

At this point in his life, he still believes his children - Luke and Leia - died with Padme, and the novel will show us a very unstable Vader sowing chaos wherever he goes.
Immortality has always been a goal for Sith in the Star Wars universe, and it’s no wonder it’s at the top of Vader’s shopping list.
As for what else occurs in the novel, we’ll have to wait to find out, as not much information has been revealed.
With the Star Wars celebration happening in Japan later this week, we may get more details to build hype for a new chapter in the canon.
