As much as we love our single-player titles, sometimes games are just more fun with friends and thanks to one modder, multiplayer is now possible in the much-loved The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
There is no denying that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is considered as one of the best RPGs of all time. The Bethesda title has gone on to win multiple awards over its thirteen-year lifespan and is as loved today as it was back in 2011.

However, the one thing that many fans think is missing is the exclusion of a multiplayer mode. I don’t know about you but I would love to explore the world of Skyrim with friends and not just because I would want to get them in trouble as much as possible.

Although the official Skyrim will always remain a single-player adventure, that does not mean that modders can’t do what they do best and yamashi on Nexus Mods has done just that with the Skyrim Together: Reborn mod.
The Skyrim Together: Reborn mod allows downloaders to play Skyrim in co-op both with friends and strangers. Together they will be able to complete quests, fight and explore the massive open-world with company.
“Skyrim Together Reborn is a passion project, created through the work of a small team of volunteers,” reads the mod description. “The aim of the mod is to develop a true Skyrim multiplayer experience that brings online multiplayer into this otherwise strictly single player game.”
The team’s focus was to create a co-op experience suitable for around 2-8 players. However, they have also experimented with up to 30 players. Good for you if you have that many friends!
