I know, I know. The world is waiting to see Grand Theft Auto VI revealed, but I can’t help but wonder what discussions are happening over at Rockstar Games when it comes to the Red Dead Redemption franchise.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the best-looking games out there, despite the fact that it was released five years ago. It’s also the gift that keeps on giving. In recent days, fans have discovered a gruesome new wildlife detail and a tragic story detail in the game’s exquisitely detailed world. Surely, Red Dead Redemption 3 feels like a given? It would be baffling if Rockstar chose to ignore this franchise but seeing as we have no official news, it’s unlikely we’ll see another Red Dead instalment in this console generation, so we could have a long wait ahead of us. Red Dead Redemption 2 running with over 100 visual mods though could give us an idea of what a next-gen Red Dead 3 might look like.
Take a look at some of our favourite Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below.
As reported by WCCFTech, YouTube channel Digital Dreams have released a stunning new Red Dead Redemption 2 graphics showcase. Running on a NVIDIA RTX 4090 and with over 100 mods used, the game looks absolutely stunning. Yes, modern gaming shouldn’t be all about photorealism - that I feel strongly about - but you cannot deny that this is extremely impressive. Photorealism certainly has its place.
Needless to say, viewers were impressed. “This is just too beautiful,” one wrote. “Can’t stop thinking of future Rockstar games.” Another added, “Red Dead Redemption 2 is art.” Others are hoping to see similar graphics in Grand Theft Auto VI.

Speaking of GTA VI, the countdown continues although Rockstar have now provided a vague release window which is at least one step in the right direction.
