More Starfield escapades seem to be on Bethesda’s itinerary.
Despite how often Starfield gets dunked on, it was a success.
While there are mixed reviews out there, the majority of critics praised the title – here at GAMINGbible, we gave it a 10/10, a score we stand by.

Furthermore, since its release, Bethesda has attempted to iron out the problems that players pointed out, as well as expand the lore in the Shattered Space DLC.

It offered an “intriguing new adventure”, though one that ultimately “plays it safe”. Still, it proved Bethesda’s commitment to turning Starfield into something bigger…

Currently, you might not think of this game as the beginning of a franchise, however, it seems that Bethesda has plans to turn it into one.
Some clues have been there since the beginning, like when the developers referred to Starfield as its “first new franchise in 25 years”.
More recently, a job listing for a PR director on ZeniMax Jobs, as spotted by X user @bogorad222, lists the sci-fi adventure as one of the “blockbuster franchises” Bethesda has created.
In fact, it lists Starfield before the likes of Fallout and The Elder Scrolls.

It isn’t too much of a stretch to see this as possible teaser that Bethesda isn’t finished with this IP just yet.
Though, even if that’s the case, there are two other games that take priority: The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5.
Granted, a sequel to Starfield is years away, if it happens at all, but its possible existence hasn’t been denied. Far from it.

That being said, you could take this “teaser” as a simple listing of IPs, with Starfield placed first because it’s the most recent title.
What is more, while we may not deem something a franchise until there’s more than one entry, it could be seen as somewhat pedantic to hone in on this one word.
This could be an extremely subtle tease, or everyone could be reading far too much into a simple job advertisement. Either way, it has us curious about Starfield’s future once more.
