Now I’m not an expert on The Elder Scrolls lore, but I’m pretty sure it has some sort of equivalent to Christmas.
With this new, free quest you can experience the festivities first-hand, and it’s a good one to play if you need to pass the time on this cold Christmas Eve.

Skyrim has an enormous collection of mods that add new quests to the game, and this one is no different.

It’s called Spirit of Saturalia, and involves the player exploring a house located inside a giant snow globe, pretty cool.
A lot of effort has gone into this mod, as the house itself looks immaculate with so many lovely Christmas decorations, and there are even some costumes to wear as well, inspired by Father Christmas and other festive characters.
As far as I’m aware there’s no combat involved in this quest, making it a lovely side activity to undertake as you unwind for the big day tomorrow.
I’d argue there are better games to play to get into the festive spirit, but then again there are also worse games as well (looking at you Dead Rising 4).

If you fancy giving this quest a go though you can download it for free from the NexusMods page, it shouldn’t take you too long to finish either.
On the topic of Christmas in video games, you PlayStation 5 users out there need to try the latest Astro Bot level that was added for this time of year.
I played through it last night and it was joyous, with some truly iconic PlayStation mascots added to the game as well, including everyone’s favourite wall-crawlers…
That said, in the spirit of Christmas you can choose to spend it however you like, personally I’ll be playing a bit of Batman: Arkham Origins, a weird Christmas tradition but one I’ve kept up for a while.
