The Last of Us Part II Remastered is about to get some exciting new content in the next few months, themed around another one of Naughty Dog’s titles.
As revealed last night on the PlayStation Blog, several Sony titles are getting some free DLC as a result of changes they’re making to how PSN account linking works on PC.
The titles include Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and God of War Ragnarok - but The Last of Us Part II Remastered is arguably getting the most interesting freebie.

That’s because, as of 3 April, the game will be receiving “+50 points to activate bonus features and unlock extras”.
Alright, I’m just kidding, the actual interesting piece of DLC is the new skin that’s being added to the game for Ellie: “Jordan’s Jacket from Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.”
In case you missed it, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is a new Naughty Dog developer title that was announced at The Game Awards in December last year.
The trailer made waves online for a number of different reasons, and one of said reasons was the sick Akira-inspired jacket that the main character Jordan is sporting.

Take a look at Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet in action below.
Now, there is one thing about this DLC drop that I couldn’t find an exact answer to online - is it a PC-exclusive skin, or will PlayStation 5 owners of The Last of Us Part II Remastered also be getting it?
The press release on Sony’s blog is a little vague regarding this, but I’m going to assume it’s the latter.

The PlayStation Blog notes that the bonuses are for people who link their PSN accounts to the game on PC, which obviously wouldn’t be a problem for those playing the title on PS5.
Either way, I’m excited to get my hands on both it and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet (whenever it comes out).
