We’re finally about to get our first look at Marvel’s next Scarlet Witch, although it seems that the new take on the character is up to some old tricks…
Thank you in advance to ComicBook's Tim Adams for the original story!
Marvel’s latest foray into their brand new Ultimate Universe line of comics (in case you’re confused, this is a different, new Ultimate Universe) is finally bringing two of the most famous mutants back into the fold with its next issue.

“This summer, everything you’ve grown to love about the new Ultimate Universe is at stake!” Marvel revealed on their official site.
“With the Maker’s return just a few months away, all five hit ongoing titles are firing on all cylinders, captivating readers with startling revelations and exciting character introductions including the debut of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in ULTIMATES (2024) #14!”
The MCU's story will continue next month with Thunderbolts*.
Starting with Issue 14, both Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch are set to pop up in this new timeline, and it seems they’re taking a leaf out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for their debut.

As detailed in the description for Ultimates (2024) #14, both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are going to be at odds with the Avengers, harkening back to their introduction during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Considering the new Ultimate Universe has been playing it a bit fast and loose with their reintroductions of existing characters, it’s hard to say if the Scarlet Witch we see in the previews will actually end up being Wanda Maximoff. It’s not even entirely obvious if she’ll actually be a mutant this time around either.
We will find out for sure once Issue 14 of Ultimates (2024) rolls around on 30 July however, so keep an eye out for any spoilers before it hits shelves… like for instance, whether or not Quicksilver will die in this universe too.
